Patsy Lee Crawford's Obituary
Patsy Lee Kerr Crawford, a lifetime Dallas County resident, was born in Dallas November 6, 1931.
A 1949 graduate of Highland Park High School, she was a member of Zeta Epsilon Sorority. She was a secretary in the national advertising department of a Dallas newspaper, where she met her husband, Dallas public relations executive James R. Crawford. They married December 3, 1955.
Patsy was a member of Dallas Women of Rotary and of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
She took an active part in her children's live by volunteering for PTA, school lunch room, Boy Scouts, Brownies, and sporting events. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was known as a kind and caring person, bursting with energy, who was loved and respected by her friends and family.
Her husband, when asked after his retirement what he felt was the most significant success of his career, did not even hesitate before answering, "Marrying Pat".
Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by four children, and their spouses: Kurt and Wanda Crawford, Mark and Martha Crawford, Steven and Teresa Crawford, and Ellen and Tim Wester; eight grandchildren: Scott, Kurt Jr., Lou, Rachel, Christen, Angela, Chad, and Chelsea; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be on Tuesday, May 27th at 12:00 p.m. at Restland Memorial Park's Trinity Section.
