Patsy Ann Gooding's Obituary
Patsy Ann Gooding, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on April 29, 2015. She joins those who preceded her, her husband, Francis Marion Gooding, her father and mother, Walter Briggs and Minnie Lee Park, and sister, Rosemary Straub. She lived a joyous life, was well-loved, and inspired all who knew her elegance, grace and vivacious sense of humor. Her memory will be cherished, and her independent spirit and beautiful singing voice always remembered. Patsy is survived by her loving partner Oliver B. Hammers; her children, Bryan and Rozanne; daughter-in-law Martha; son-in-law Mark Silverwood; grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel, Margaret, Francis and Morgaine. A memorial service will be held Restland Wildwood Chapel on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:30 PM. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Arthritis National Research Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.
