Patsy Ruth Hayes Stanley's Obituary
Patsy Ruth Hayes Stanley was born on October 11, 1933 in Detroit, Texas to Arthur and Beatrice Gammill Hayes. She peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Dec. 14, 2015. She is survived by her faithful husband of 61 years, Billie Joe; her daughter, Kim Bonar, her husband Barry and their sons Josh and Zac Bonar; her son, Bruce Stanley, his wife Julie and their son David and daughter Alexandra and her husband Adam; and her daughter, Kristi Kirchhofer, her husband Neil and their children, Grace and Jacob. Patsy made a significant impact on the community by teaching for over 30 years at elementary schools in DISD including Stephen C. Foster, Linfield, Maple Lawn, O.M. Roberts, Lakewood, Nathan Adams and Tom C. Gooch. She was a sweet, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and teacher who will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Rowlett, Saturday, December 19th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First Baptist Rowlett Children’s Wing, 4309 Main Street, Rowlett, TX 75088.
