Patsy Lynn Savage's Obituary
Patsy Lynn Hampton Savage, age 94, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 in Boerne, Texas. She was born to Mr. Lillard Allison Hampton and Mrs. Lorraine Ernestine Mayer Hahn Hampton on November 6, 1928.
She married Jack Weldon Savage on June 14, 1947, in Dallas, Texas. She is remembered by her love of God, love of family, love of reading and love of handwork. She sang and played the piano. She enjoyed camping, needlework, doing paint-by-number on her tablet and working with flowers. She was very good at office work and kept her husband’s books when he had his own business.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Marion Douglas Hampton, son Craig Alan Savage and granddaughter Alisha Carley Sewell.
She is survived by her daughter Christie Savage, son Chad Savage and his wife Christina, daughter Cynthia Neill and husband Barry, daughter Cassie Sewell and husband Jimmy, daughter-in-law Stacy Savage (wife of Craig Savage). Grandchildren: Jason Laird, Casey Savage, Candice Savage Charlson and husband Matt, Josh Neill and wife Amanda, Zach Neill, Jacob Sewell, Cody Sewell and fiancé, Emily, Micah Sewell and wife Mykayla, Abbie Sewell Mechler and husband Eric, Katlyn Savage Decker and husband Travis, Hannah Savage Farlowe and husband Logan and Kyle Savage. Great-Grandchildren: Abbie Phelps Savage, Leo Charlson, Jack Charlson, Emmett Charlson Leilee Neill Cartwright and husband Tristan, Lily Neill, Eli Neill, Aliza Sewell, Darla Sewell, Milli Sewell, Freya Sewell, Raelle Sewell, Presley Postell, Paisley Mechler, Everett Mechler, Raelynn Decker, Addilyn Decker and Lachlan Decker.
Visitation for Patsy Lynn Hampton Savage will be Friday, September 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with the service following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Following the service, there will be a short graveside service for those who wish to attend.
