Patsy Lou Woodard's Obituary
WOODARD, PATSY “PAT” LOU PRESTRIDGE 75, of Hot Springs Village passed away December 26, 2012. She was born May 29, 1937 in Barksdale Field, Louisiana to Arthur and Myrtle Prestridge. Pat spent many years as a third grade teacher and a church librarian. After retirement, she and her husband traveled in their RV until they located Hot Springs Village. She was a member of Northway Baptist Church and sang soprano in the choir. Pat was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerard Prestridge. Pat is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jennings Woodard; children, Randy (Kelly) Woodard of McKinney, Texas, Karla (Martin) Manzanares of Lewisville, Texas and Kyle (Christi) Woodard of Frisco, Texas; and grandchildren, Trevor, Trent, Shelby, Brandon, Hannah, Joshua and Sarah. A memorial service will be held at 11AM, Monday, December 31, 2012 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday December 30 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
