There is a celebration going on in Heaven. 97 years of love of comforting family and friends. Of supporting those around her. Patsy or "Momo" loved her family to the full measure. I can imagine all her family and much-loved friends lined up at the gates waiting with open arms to welcome her. Uncle Glen, Woody, Bobo, Pe Pe and Nannie, Vanessa and Brandon. The Burdene's and the McCally's and so many others. I can hear Brandon shouting out when he saw Momo, "YA HOO"! " YEAH"! Echoing across the heavens.
I will remember the good times with family, the breaking of bread, my favorite foods. Like Patsy's meatloaf or Woody's steaks. They always treated me as a son. I am very grateful to this family and the warm welcomes.
I remember one time visiting the family with Brad in Gainesville and seeing Nannie and Pe Pe. These two grannies were "One-Upping" each other with their stories. Nannie turned to Pe Pe and said, do you know Brad's good friend Russell? To which Pe Pe responded, "know him, Heck, I used to change his diapers!"
Momo, I love you like my own mother. I love this family. Our faith assures us that we will see our loved ones again.
