Patty June Watts' Obituary
Patty June Watts was born August, 20, 1930 in Quitman, Texas, the daughter of Beuna Edward Galloway and Patrick Henry McRae. She passed away August 28, 2017 at home.Patty was a graduate of Sunset High School. She married William Clyde Watts, Jr. March 1, 1948.A lifelong member of United Methodist Church, she served as a member of many church committees and was very active in her Circle group in Ennis which was named the Patty Watts Circle in her honor. She was a member of Pollard United Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas. Mrs. Watts was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a gentle and devoted lady to all her family.She is survived by three children: her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Laurie Watts, daughter and son-in-law Juree and Blane Carrifee and daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Gip Friesen; grandchildren, Amy Watts Haisler and husband Mark, James Watts and wife Tiffany, Cory Carrifee, Kelly Carrifee Oldham and husband Sam, Casey Carrifee and wife Heather, Leeanne Friesen Haglund and husband Hunter, Laura Friesen Fincher and husband Thomas, and Lacey Friesen Luce and husband Chase; great grandchildren, Jack Haisler, Julia Haisler, Taylor Watts, Ethan Cassell, Caitlyn Carrifee, Christian Carrifee, Lilly Oldham, Landry Oldham, Lake Oldham, Avery Carrifee, Casey Michael Carrifee, Jr., Preston Haglund, William Haglund, Gibson Fincher, Walter Fincher, Griffin Luce, and Emma Jane Luce.In addition, to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Watts, Jr., her brother, Charles Kenneth McRae, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, W.C. Watts, Sr. and Frances Irene Watts and sister-in-law Freddie Mae Watts.The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm Friday, September 1, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home in staterooms A-B. Please stop by the reception desk and the funeral home will escort you to the room. Following the visitation, there will be a short procession to Restland Memorial Park for a graveside service at 2:00 pm in Acacia Lawn. Rev. Erin Mukleroy will officiate. Casey Carrifee, Cory Carrifee,Thomas Fincher, Hunter Hagland, Mark Haisler, Chase Luce, Sam Oldham, and James Watts will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
