I wanted to sign the register, but the service was beginning, so I was seated before I could sign it. I am saddened by the passing of Dr. Funk. He was a great dentist and friend.

It's a memory I'll never forget.... I met Paul on the softball field in June 1982. Somehow, we got on the subject of golf and within minutes, we found ourselves hitting golf balls on the softball field! I knew at that time, that dental school was going to be something special. Over the next 4 years, we played as much golf as we did studying on Paul and Susie's living room floor, studying and playing with their beautiful kitty's (Tara and Nicole). We wouldn't have survived without Susie feeding us and keeping us all on track to finish what we had started. It wouldn't have been the same without all the others who would partake... Greg, Hugo, Chad, Mike C, Chip, and a handful of awesome friends living a dream. My prayers and love go out to his lovely wife Susie, his awesome children, the family, and his friends and patients.
