Phil Houston
Paul and I shared a cubicle at Motorola and had many company memories. But after we both retired, it was a great joy to me to be driving up Coit Road, see the garage door open, and pull in for a visit to see what he was fixing or building. His great passion was "making sawdust". But more important that that was his willingness to help out if you had a problem at your house. Many, many times helped me with something on my car, or a defective light switch in the house and other incidents to numerous to mention. I will miss his companionship and his ability to explain a situation to me with his pen and a yellow pad. Priceless.
