Paul Scott Martin's Obituary
Paul Scott Martin was born in Texas on August 1st, 1952 and passed in Dallas on June 24th, 2019. Paul spent his childhood in many places including Dallas, Houston, Amarillo and Los Angeles. He graduated from University of Texas-Arlington with degrees in history and political science.Paul worked as a real estate agent for many years until he followed his dream to become a writer. He published two children’s books, The Search for the Golden Bone and The Search for Sooner Silver. The books used the story of two dogs to teach children history and geography. Paul was also a lover of politics, history and Texas hill country during bluebonnet season. Paul will be missed by his friends and family.Paul is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Mary Lou Martin, beloved aunt Virginia “Ginger” Millard, sister Constance Tacker and his many pets. He is survived by his nephew Scott Rader and friends.In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local SPCA.A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Restland Funeral Home.
