Paul Edward Smith's Obituary
Mr. Paul E. Smith was born to Mr. Ed Smith and Myrtle Smith, on April 30, 1920, in Plano, Texas. His mother, father, one son Charles Smith and seven siblings preceded him in death.He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Paul was one of the oldest residents of Plano, Texas. After serving time in the Army he met and married Mrs. Verna Mae Smith, in 1947.He was employed at the V.A. Hospital while he trained to become a plumber. In 1953 he became a Licensed Master Plumber and established Paul E. Smith Plumbing. Later his four sons joined him in the business. At the young age of 89 Paul leaves behind three daughters: Rosa Smith, Pauline White, Edith Giles, three sons: Paul Smith Jr., Norris Smith, Carl Smith: One sister Maxine Simmons, twenty-five grandchildren, forty great- grandchildren, twelve great great – grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and family who will miss him dearly.
