Mr. Paul Nicholas Strucely's Obituary
Paul Nicholas Strucely, Sr. was born to Nicholas Strucely and Rosa Maria Bippert on May 3,1922 at their home in Dallas, Texas. He was the oldest of five children to be baptized and brought into the family of God at Zion Lutheran Church, Dallas where he was later confirmed. He married Louima Kienitz on November 21, 1953, 69 years ago. He served in church leadership and teaching roles and they served together in the Braile Ministry. He attended Crozier Tech High School, served in World War II in the Army and Air Force, and returned to attend Southern Methodist University. Paul was a master custom craftsman and owned Supercrafters Company for over 40 years with his wife Louima. They raised five children which gave them 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. In retirement they enjoyed time with family, Zion Senior Fellowship, Dallas Symphony Orchestra concerts, travel in the U.S. and Europe and continued to live in their life-long home until last year. God blessed them with a thirst for life, trusting hearts, strong minds, and good health. In the last 6 months he and Louima were cared for lovingly by their family and a Senior Living Community that brought joy and more life to each day. Paul walked home to Victory in the arms of his Savior Jesus on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was 100 years old. His legacy lives on with his wife Louima and their five children: Ann Sowders, Janet Schwarz, Nick Strucely, Ruth Graupman, & Cherie Stone; their 12 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, his sister Bernice Launius, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family with him in heavenly fellowship are his Father and Mother, Rosa and Nicholas, three brothers: Walter, Julian, and Harold, daughter: Christyne, son-in-law: Clyde Sowders, grandson: Adam Sowders, great grandson: Chase Sowders, great granddaughter: Emma. Praise be to God!
