Paul Jack Tawwater's Obituary
Paul Jack Tawwater, age 87 of Rowlett, Texas passed away on March 3, 2015. He was born on November 22, 1927 in Garland, Texas to Gladys Goode Tawwater and Olin (Shorty) Tawwater. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy during World War ll and the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. organization. He loved to reminisce about his Navy adventures, travels and the ships he served on. He retired from Schwartz Jordan Flooring Co. after many years of service. Jack enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, Dallas Cowboy games and playing with his grandchildren and his pet dog, Jake. He was always willing to help family and friends in any way that he could. He is survived by his wife, Mickey Tawwater; sons, Steve Cooper, Jim Cooper; daughters, Kathy Elerick and Diane Shearer; and blessed with 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; sisters: Laverne Pruitt and children and Nadine Washington and Bill and children. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Pascoe and brother James Olin (J. O.) Tawwater. Pallbearers: Bob Washington, David Reichle, Mike Pascoe, Landon Stovall, Don Floyd and Tracy Brewer. Jack’s family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Services for Jack will take place at 11:00 on Monday, March 9, 2015 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
