Dearest Marjory and family, We are saddened by the news of Paul's death but will join in the celebration of a life well-lived. Majory and Family, Patsy Roe was kind enough to let me know of Paul's passing into the eternal loving arms of God the Father last Sunday and the current plans for Paul's memorial service on Friday 20 August. Although I can not be at that service in body, be assured I will be present in spirit and sending my prayers and support to you through those hours and beyond. Paul and you were so supportive of me, my ministry among you and even my later scholarship that I can only repay that debt to you with similar support for others. My parents also thought so much of you and Paul and all you shared with them long after I left the staff at First UMC, Lewisville. You are very special people and I pray that you know and experience the love of God, the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ and the community of all the saints through the Holy Spirit who surround you in special ways in this difficult time. May God's Grace and Peace envelope you now and always. Consider yourself well hugged by me and many others in my family and circle of friends who love you, even those whom Paul has now joined in the fellowship in God's eternal love and care.. David
