Paula Kay Pope's Obituary
POPE, PAULA KAY Passed away peacefully on August 13, 2008, surrounded by her family and friends. Kay was born on December 29, 1947 in Mineola, TX. She was preceded in death by her father, Orlen V. Hawkins and her mother, Pauline Hunt Hawkins. Kay is survived by her children, Sherry Long, Phillip Pope and wife, Kristen, Aaron Pope and wife, Victoria; grandchildren, Kari, Jackson, Jordan and Jared; brother, Thomas Hawkins; and her life long friends Debbie Arnold, Janet Mihalyi and Janet Norvell. Kay lived in Garland, TX since 1997 and was an active member of South Garland Baptist Church and Community Activities. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and travel with family and friends. Services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, August 16, 2008 at South Garland Baptist Church. Visitation is from 6:00PM-8:00PM Friday at Restland Funeral Home.
