My friend, Paula, I know that you are finally in peace as your pain is now over. You fought a long and courageous battle, and YOU won the war! YOU are now being comforted in the arms of our Father. I was swimming with my friend Dean at The Chase apartments in The Village when you sat in the chaise lounge chair next to him … It was love at first sight, I think, for both of you …. You and I had a rocky start at first I think, but we always had mutual respect for each other, and in the last couple of years, formed a friendship… You were one tough cookie- stubborn, honest, and always spoke your mind. I think you had a tough time throughout your life, but you seemed someone to make lemonade out of lemons. I came to really like and respect and care for you.
