Paulina Garcia's Obituary
Paulina Garcia was born on June 22, 1935 to father Angel Valenzuela & mother Dolores Marrufo in Durango, Durango, Mexico. She grew up in Mexico surrounded by her loving siblings & extended family. Paulina completed her education as an elementary school teacher & later met the love of her life Raymundo Garcia. They were married on March 5, 1955 in Odessa, Texas & had 6 wonderful children.
Paulina was loving, passionate, simple & honest. She lived most of her life in Dallas, Texas & was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland, Texas. She enjoyed singing in the church choir for several years. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting & gardening but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Paulina entered into rest on December 10, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Raymundo Garcia; sons Oscar (Melissa) of The Woodlands, Texas, Jesse (Sandy) of Dallas, Texas, Raymond of Dallas, Texas & Alfred of Dallas, Texas; & daughters Nellie Graves (Gary) of Euless, Texas & Mari (Shane) of Richardson, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jacob, Alyssa, Raelynn, Gabi, Josh, Connor & Garrett & great grandchildren Rowan & Raymond. Her best friend of many years, Emma DeLeon will also miss her dearly.
Paulina was preceded in death by her father Angel; mother Dolores; brother Armando; daughter-in-law Janice; & aunts Bernarda Marrufo & Esperanza Ciriza. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends & all the wonderful individuals who knew & loved her.
