Pauline Gray's Obituary
GRAY, PAULINE was born on November 23, 1917 in Martin’s Mill, Texas and passed away on July 15, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. While she was a long time Texan, she also had the opportunity to live in Denver, Colorado and Santa Monica, California with her husband, Robert Gray, during his time as a pilot with Continental Airlines. Polly taught second and third grade in Dallas ISD and other districts for 35 years. Polly and Bob were avid ballroom dancers and participated in competitions around Texas. They were also active members of Park Cities Baptist Church for over 50 years. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gray; three cherished sisters, Kathleen Tews, Morea Jackson, and Gladys Sides; and four brothers, Homer Bass, Dewey Bass, J.W. Bass, and Thelmer Bass. She is survived by six nephews and many great nieces. Services will be held 3:00pm on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the chapel. The family would like to send a special appreciation to Mona and the staff at Hospice Plus and the entire 3rd floor staff at the Forum for the care and love they showed our aunt in her last months. We are also especially thankful for Polly’s long-time friend and companion, Olga Flores.
