Pauline Alice McFadden's Obituary
Pauline was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania on September 6, 1931 to Alice and Clifford Pool. She and her brother James were raised on an idyllic farm in the small town of Conneautville, Pennsylvania. Her childhood and life were built around her faith. She inherited a gentle and kind spirit from her parents and community, which she generously shared with all of those that met her. She graduated from Conneautville High School in 1950. She married Gilbert Love McFadden in the parlor of her childhood home on November 12, 1957. Following their wedding, they relocated to Dallas, Texas where they raised their five children, Alice, Larry, John, Jeff and Cheri. Pauline worked for St. Regis Paper Company in Dallas for over 25 years where she retired. She started a second career following her faith by working for American Tract where they produced religious publications until she retired a second time in or about 1997. One of her deepest passions was supporting missionaries and those in the field, and through that, she developed deep and lasting friendships near and far. Pauline was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her five children, Alice Strunk of Grand Prairie, Texas, Larry McFadden of Richardson, Texas, John McFadden of Fairview, Texas, Jeff McFadden of Fairview, Texas and Cheri O’Neal of Sharpsburg, Georgia, together with their spouses, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many cousins, and numerous friends, too many to list. She was preceded in death by her parents, her younger brother James, and her husband Gilbert.Visitation for Pauline McFadden will be held Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
