Pearlene Smith's Obituary
Pearlene (Summerfield) Smith, age 95, passed away in her sleep on March 21, 2023, in Plano, Texas. She was born on September 24, 1927, in Kaufman County, to Lewis and Mirthe Summerfield. She was an only child.
On August 15, 1947, she married her Lincoln High School sweetheart, Charles E. Smith. They were married 75 years (Till death do we part)! They had 2 children, son, Willie Charles Rudy Smith and daughter, Saundra Smith. Pearlene retired from AT&T after 32 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Saundra.
Pearlene is survived by her husband, Charles Smith; son, Willie Smith; three grandsons; two great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
