Pearlie Mae Walker was born on January 9, 1929 in Corinth, Mississippi and passed away March 12, 2015 in Garland, Texas. She was predeceased in death by her beloved husband, Billy E. Walker; her parents; 2 brothers; 1 sister and her son-in-law, George Farmer. She was married for over 66 years to Bill; separated in death by only 7 days. They lived as they died: two hearts, one Life; forever together. Survived by their four children: Vickie, Donna, Rick and his wife, Yvonne, and Linda and her husband, Dale; six grandchildren: Kristy, Jason, Clayton and his wife, Rebeka, Jennifer, Bonnie, PhilLip; and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 brother and two sisters: Carlton, ShirLey and Jean. She worked for many years as the head cashier for The Great Atlantic and Pacific food store better known as A8:P. After retiring, she learned to use a computer and corresponded with friends around the world sharing her poetry writings. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her husband, their children and grandchildren. The visitation for Pearlie Mae Walker along with her husband, Billy E. Walker will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for both Pearlie and Bill Walker will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 12:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restiand Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
