DRAKE, PEGGY JOAN COPE Born to Mary Grubbs and Bedford Cope, on June 20, 1935, Nashville, TN. Died April 17, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, Clifford Drake; sister, Janie Cope Chapin and Tom Chapin; brother, Louis Thomas Cope and niece, Connie Cope Cook. Survived by sister, Gloria Cope Gilpin and husband, Bobby; sister-in-law, Hester Cope Haynes; nieces and nephews, Cece and Tom Cope, Jr., Cherri Cope, Nanette Oliver, Sherry and Tom Chapin, Debbie Chapin Sparks, Wes Gilpin, Katherine Gilpin, many great-nieces, nephews and devoted friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 6:00-8:00PM, Restland Funeral Home. Service Saturday, April 21, 2012, 12:30PM, Restland Wildwood Chapel. Peggy, a retired American Airlines flight attendant, brought joy to all who knew her. She lit up the room with sunshine and will be remembered for her faith in Jesus Christ and her love and generosity to all.
