Peggy Ann Ford's Obituary
FORD, PEGGY ANN JOPLIN was born April 8, 1941, in Dallas, TX to Jack and Jewell Joplin. She passed from this life into the eternal presence of her Lord on March 8, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Peggy grew up in Dallas and spent a lifetime in service, employed by her Lord, Jesus Christ. She has a special heart for children, those who were homeless, and the elderly. For the past twenty years, Peggy has been the author of inspirational cards that have brought great encouragement to friends, family and strangers during times of difficulty. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jewell Joplin; sisters Betty Lee Joplin, Billie Bee Johnson and Mary Lou Osburn, and her precious infant son, Richard Lee Ford. Survivors include her children, daughter Rebecca Kaye Cain and son Michael Thomas Ford and wife Kay; and grandchildren Kayelee Jewell and Kyler Christian Cain and Hayden Thomas and Haylee Nicholle Ford, all of Garland, TX. Also surviving her is Butterfly, her constant companion and faithful friend.
