Peggy Green's Obituary
GREEN, PEGGY WALTON, Born on April 21, 1914 in Sulphur Springs, TX and passed away on May 2, 2008. Peggy moved to Dallas in the early 1930s and married A.L. Jack Walton, a well-known restaurant owner in the Dallas area. They had two children: Jack Tracy and Peggy Lee. She was predeceased by her husband in 1960. She later married W. Olan Green and was married to him until his death in 1986. She devoted her life to caring for her family, which was her greatest joy. Survivors include: son Jack Walton and wife Marie; daughter Peggy Lee Moore and husband Doyle; granddaughters: Susan Williams, Tracy Koonce, Michelle Walton, PJ Sears, Arden Bowser, Dawn Moore, and Ashley Paul; nine great-grandchildren; and two nieces. Visitation will be Sunday, May 4 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Restland Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the Jack Walton Memorial Chapel of Lakewood United Methodist Church 2443 Abrams Rd, Dallas on Monday, May 5 at 11:00 A.M.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakewood United Methodist Church.
