Peggy Sue Haddock's Obituary
Peggy McBride Haddock passed away June 1, 2019 after a long journey with dementia. She was born in Cooper, Texas, February 2, 1937 to William Aubrey McBride and Veda Georgia Shaw McBride.Peggy was a member of First Baptist Church Richardson. In 1996, she retired from EDS. Peggy enjoyed volunteering at Austin Street Shelter and Presbyterian Hospital, Plano.She is survived by the love of her life for 65 years, W.D. (Dub) Haddock, daughter, Charlotte Hart and husband, Joe, of Dallas, son, Greg Haddock and wife Vanessa of Tyler, Texas. A loving grandmother to Jennifer Hart Lenz and husband, Zach, Peggy was blessed with three great grandchildren, Holt, Hudson and Hart Lenz of Dallas. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Locke and husband Earl, niece, Kim Borrelli and husband, Joe, nephew, Todd Locke and wife, Angie, great-niece, Aubrie Borrelli and great- nephews, Gage and Peyton Locke. Peggy cherished her family and friends more than anything and from them she derived immense joy.A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Wildwood Chapel of Restland Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
