Peggy Ann Hopkins' Obituary
Passed away on April 11, 2015. Born in Greenville, TX to Curtis and Anna Hamilton Hopkins and spent most of her adult life in Dallas, TX. After retiring as Financial Administrator of the U.S. District Court, Peggy did volunteer work at North Texas Legal Services, Baylor Hospital and Wilshire Baptist Church. She was active in National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees, Book Lore Review, Dallas Christian Women’s Club and served on the board of directors at Birchbrook Condominiums. Survivors are Mr. and Mrs. Charles McKay of Plano and several other cousins. Peggy had been a member at Wilshire Baptist Church since 1976. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday, April 20, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Wilshire Baptist Church in the McIver Chapel, conducted by Dr. George Mason. Burial will be at East Mount Cemetery, Greenville, TX. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
