Peggy Jane Miller's Obituary
Peggy Jane Miller was born on October 10, 1937 and passed away on May 17, 2020. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Norma Miller and her niece Vickie Elliott. Peggy spent her early years in Chicago, loving the hustle and bustle of a big city. She always had an interest in politics and spent her time working at conventions and helping out with campaigns. She even appeared on a popular Chicago magazine cover during her time spent on the Nixon campaign. In her 20’s, she was diagnosed with MS and moved to Dallas to be closer to family. Not one to let it get her down, she started making scarves that she even sold to Neiman Marcus. When her MS went into remission, she began work at an employment agency and was so successful, she opened Peggy Miller Personnel, which thrived for 25 years until her semi-retirement. She became interested in real estate, leading to her creating Peggy Miller Business Brokers, a very successful commercial firm that she continued until her death. Peggy shined. All that met her loved her and many thought she was a “movie star”. Her personality was vivacious and people gravitated to her. She was kind, loving and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her sisters Nora Dollahan, Jackie Loving (Danny), and brother John Miller (Suellen), nephews Mike Dollahan (Colleen), Clint Elliott (Karen), Jason Miller, and niece Linda Dollahan (Ernie), as well as many beloved cousins, great nieces and nephews. Due to the 2020 pandemic, the family will gather May 15, 2021 to lay Peggy’s ashes to rest in a private ceremony.
