O’DONNELL, PEGGY JEAN ~ Born June 8, 1933, in Dallas, Texas and passed away June 8, 2012. Preceded in death by her parents, Jack Pike and Helen Huddleston; brother Ronald Lassiter and husband, Dick O’Donnell. Survived by: children, Pam Barron (Gary); Doug Laxson (DeLana); Jim Laxson (Karen); grandchildren: Megan, Laura, James, Travis, Jacob, LaTasha, Valerie and Kathleen; Great grandchild: Owen. Peggy worked at Central Bank & Trust in Farmers Branch which became First City Bank for 25 years. She continued working part time at Inwood National Bank for 15 years. She enjoyed many friendships with her customers & co-workers. Peggy was an active member at Christ United Methodist Church and Valwood Park Baptist Church in Farmers Branch, Texas. She was also a member of the Metrocrest Civic League. Peggy loved to help others. Please come to Peggy’s Celebration of Life on Monday, June 18th at Valwood Park Baptist Church in Farmers Branch at 11:30 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, please make memorials to a favorite charity, her church, civic league or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
