Mrs. Peggy Jean Webber's Obituary
Peggy Jean Webber, known to all as “Jean” was born in Mar-shall, TX on January 1st, 1947. She is survived by her sister Jeanette Lawrence, children Edward R. Webber V, Mary E. Cooper, her grandchildren Edward R. Webber VI and Christina Renee Cork and also her great grandchildren Emerald and Abi-gail Stevens. Jean was born and raised until 11th grade in Mar-shalTexas. Jean dreamed of becoming a teacher and moved to San Antonio, Tx with her family her Senior year of high school. She then went to College at Texas Lutheran in Seguin, TX where she met the love of her life, Rick Webber who she later married and then eventually moved to Dallas, TX to raise a family. Jean worked and volunteered many places over the years, including Texas Childrens St. Luke’s Hospital, Blue Cross, and L.L. Hotchkiss Elementary where she taught 4th, 5th and 6th graders. After her husband passed in 2017, she moved to Mansfield, TX to Watercrest Retirement Community where she made a lot of friends and had a great time participating in community events. Jean was a loving mother and wife, dedicated to raising her chil-dren and providing a loving home for her husband. Jean loved to read books, especially romance novels, watch football, play bingo, listen to music and socialize with her friends. She was kind, giving and would always help family in need. She adored her family and friends and was one of the most loyal friends a person could ask for. She will be sorely missed by her family and all the friends she made over the years.
