Peggy Lavelle Wicks' Obituary
Peggy LaVelle Wicks, 88, of Carrollton, passed away January 26, 2018 at Baylor, Scott, & White of Plano. She was born December 8, 1929 in Dallas, Texas, to the late Leslie G. Brown and Esther K. Pullen. She was a bookkeeper for most of her career working at the Internal Revenue Service before retiring.Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Frank Wicks, and daughter Wendy L. Small. Peggy is survived by son, Tim Wicks, his wife Ginger, son Randy Wicks, his wife Janna, sister Barbara Kimberling, six grandchildren, their spouses, and six great-grandchildren.Services will be held at First Baptist Church Carrollton, 2400 N. Josey Lane, Carrollton, Texas 75006 at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 with private interment following the ceremony. Family visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243, (469) 925-1436.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Kidney Foundation.
