Percy Dupuis' Obituary
Dallas, Texas – Funeral Services for Percy Dupuis will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Friday, October 30, 2009, at St. Rita Catholic Church at 12521 Inwood Road, in Dallas, Texas, with Rev. Jacinto Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. Percy Dupuis was born October 14, 1931 in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Mr. Dupuis passed away at Presbyterian Village North in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. He was 78. Percy was retired after 25 years as Service Director for Don Snell Buick. He served in the Louisiana National Guard, 39th Division, 156th Infantry Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, dogs (Boo and Macy), sports, gardening and dancing. Survivors include his daughter, Gena Marie Abramov, her husband Ofer Abramov of Dallas, Texas; his two sons, Eddie Dupuis and Donny Dupuis, his wife Cyndi Dupuis, all of Dallas, Texas; his former wife, Anne Threat (mother of his children). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Leza Abramov of Austin Texas, Rachel Abramov, Rebecca Abramov and Jonathan Abramov of Dallas Texas; Mac Dupuis, Cole Dupuis and Brody Dupuis all of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Rylie Dupuis and Shea Dupuis of Dallas, Texas; his two brothers Francis “Bose” Dupuis of St. Martinville, Louisiana and Fred Dupuis of New Iberia, Louisiana; his three sisters, Georgia D. Albert of Lafayette, Louisiana, Beulah D. Serrette and Mary D. Arton both of St. Martinville, Louisiana; one aunt, Ada of Crowley, Louisiana, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Julien Dupuis and Angelina Landry Dupuis, his brother Phillip Dupuis. The family request that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2009. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2009. Pallbearers will be: Fred Dupuis, Kim Serrette, Donny Dupuis, Chris Dupuis, Jared Perrio, and Tyler Ventress. Serving as honorary pallbearers are: Eddie Dupuis and Ofer Abramov The gift bearers will be: Rebecca Abramov, Jonathan Abramov. Restland Memorial Park of Dallas, Texas (972-238-7111), is in charge of the arrangements.
