Phelana Foster, 45, of Mesquite, Texas, died December 19, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas of Ovarian Cancer. She was born November 26, 1972 to Joe Salinas and Rachel Salinas in Dallas, Texas.Phelana married Joseph Foster on September 21, 2013 in Mesquite, Texas. She was an educator, mother and wife. Her hobby was loving everybody that she met. She was member of the New Jerusalem Community.She is preceded in death by Rachel Salinas and Johnny Flores. Phelana is survived by her husband, Joseph Foster of Mesquite; daughter, Savannah Inthalangsy of Mesquite and Kristen Foster of Mesquite, Texas; father, Joe Salinas of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Julian Flores, Victor Pena, Ruben Gonzales and Joe Salinas.The family request that visiting hours be observed at Restland Memorial Chapel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Divine Mercy in Mesquite,Texas followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park, Garden of the Gospel.Funeral arrangements entrusted to Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
