Phetsamone Widener, born on January 1, 1961, in Vientiane, Laos, passed away on March 9, 2024, in Carrollton, TX. She was the beloved daughter of Kothnica Sanavongsa.
Phetsamone was preceded in death by her loving mother, Kothnica Sanavongsa, and her first-born daughter, Sarah Widener. She is survived by her devoted husband, Russell Widener, and her two cherished sons, Ryan Widener and Nickolas Widener.
Phetsamone and Russell were married on April 2, 1983, and their bond was a source of strength and love throughout the years. Their family was the center of Phetsamone's world, and she took great pride in raising her sons with values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance.
Throughout her life, Phetsamone was known for her generous spirit, fierce ambition, and green thumb. Her bravery and risk-taking spirit set her apart, as she fearlessly pursued her dreams and served others with unwavering dedication. Phetsamone had a passion for cooking and hosting, bringing people together through delicious meals and warm hospitality. Her longstanding career at Stanley Tools was a testament to her hard work and dedication. Phetsamone's colleagues and friends remember her as a reliable and skilled professional who always went above and beyond. In addition to her family and career, Phetsamone touched the lives of many with her dedication to serving others and her involvement in the community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
A memorial service will be held on March 19, 2024 at 1 PM at Valwood Park Baptist Church, located at 2727 Valwood Pkwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.
