Philip Ray Gray's Obituary
Philip R. Gray, 83, of Richardson, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017. He was born November 12, 1933, to Philip and Minnie Faye Gray in Carthage, Texas. He served as a Motor Pool Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1953-1956. Philip and Gloria Meador were married on March 23, 1955, in Regensburg, Germany. He received a B.S.M.E. degree from the University of Texas in 1959. They moved to Dallas where Philip was an engineer at Texas Instruments for 31 years.He is survived by his wife, Gloria, his sons, Brian and his wife Maureen, David and his wife Karol, and Gordon and his wife Bev; his sisters, Beverly Gray-Alexander, Patricia Gray Walden, Janet Gray Murley, Kathy Gray Edens, and his brother, Dale Gray; also 9 grandchildren, Rebecca, Trevor, Philip, Thomas, Allison, Quincy, Amber, Michael, and Victoria. Great-Grandchildren are Grayson Coker and James Gray.Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Youngblood Cemetery in Beckville, TX.
