Phillip Eugene Lockhart's Obituary
Phillip Eugene Lockhart was born on October 18, 1954 in Kingsport, Tenneesse and passed away on April 27, 2015 in Arlington, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Lockhart. Phil triumphed over juvenile diabetes for 51 years. He displayed courage and bravery throughout his life. Phil was a humble, kind-hearted person who exhibited his Christian beliefs every day. Survived by his wife, Cynthia Lockhart of Arlington Texas; Mother, Evelyn Lockhart; Sister, Carolyn McCrary; nephews, Brian McCrary, Mark McCrary; Uncle Richard Self all of Kingsport, Tennessee. The memorial service will be at 12:30 PM on Thurday, April 30, 2015 in The Wildwood Chapel at Resltand Funeral Home . Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road. Pallbearers: Matthew Ginn, Aaron Ginn, Joe Bowling, Andrew Arnspiger, Mike Ginn, Rusty Powell In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Greater Ft Worth/Arlington Chapter at http://fortworth.jdrf.org or Camp Sweeney a camp that serves children with Type 1 diabetes at http://www.campsweeney.org An additional service in Kingsport, Tennessee will follow in the near future.
