Phu Vinh Huynh's Obituary
HUYNH, PHU VINH On May 10, 2014, Phu Vinh Huynh died peacefully in his sleep. Phu’s parents were originally from China and immigrated to Cholon, Vietnam where he was born and lived until 1978. He, along with his wife and children immigrated to Dallas, Texas in 1979. Phu had lived in the Dallas area until his death on May 10, 2014. He was known by those who loved him as a hard working individual who had always put his family first. Phu was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest passions were food and travel. Phu had travelled to many places all over the world. Despite his growing weakness in the last few months, he still loved to be taken outside, whether for a walk in his wheelchair, or in a car for an afternoon excursion. He is survived by his beloved wife, Phan Ly Huynh and 5 children and 9 grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Restland Memorial Chapel.
