Phyllis Louise Belk's Obituary
Phyllis was born on June 10, 1916 in Dallas, TX. She passed away on August 18, 2012 in Dallas, TX. Phyllis shared her passion for music with others by having her own radio programs, in the 1930s on WRR, KRLD and WFAA, where she enjoyed singing for five years. Phyllis was a member of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Belk Jr., and daughter, Sharon Broiles. She is survived by her son, Fred Belk; daughter, Barbara Carew; five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM, Crypt Side at Abbey Mausoleum.
