Menefee, Phyllis' Obituary
Phyllis Menefee (Sweet Phil) was born on March 17, 1962, in Lubbock, Texas. Being a St. Patrick’s Day baby, her favorite color was green. She received her education at Ralla High School in Ralls, Texas. A job transfer to Texas Instruments brought her to Dallas, Texas in 1983. Dallas became home for her. She later worked at Trail Blazers for many years.
Phyllis attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Garland, Texas. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. She loved to play Bingo and listen to music. Phyllis truly was the sunshine and laughter of our family.
Left to cherish her memories are her three children, Shamica Edison, Shantina Webb, and Demondre Webb (Daja Thomas); grandchildren, Nevaeh Davis, Sevyn Badger, Alayah, Camryn, and De’Mari Webb; honorary grandchildren, Destiny and Kaiden Helen; siblings, Sylvester Menefee of Richardson, Texas, Paul Menefee of Richardson, Texas, and Annie McDonald (Oblie) of Richardson, Texas; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Cleo Menefee; sister Gloria Helen, brother James Menefee, twin brother Danny and Lanny Menefee, and nephew, Frederick Menefee
