Phyllis R. Noteware's Obituary
Phyllis was born July 28, 1915 to Owen and Blanche Roper in Hobart, Indiana, and died April 26, 2008 at Presbyterian Village North. She graduated from Northwestern University in 1936 with a degree in personnel administration. She was a member of Alpha Phi sorority. She married Kenneth Noteware in 1937, and they lived in the mid-west until 1952 when they moved to Dallas. Ken retired in 1972, and they bought a trailer and traveled in it until 1977, when they settled at Hide-a-Way Lake. They were members of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Karen Bullock of Salt Lake City; David of Dallas; Kenneth of Lubbock; Deborah D’Ambrogi of Dallas; Daniel of Winnesboro; sister, Shirley Gradle of Potomac, Maryland; and eighteen grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Presbyterian Village North for their years of devoted care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 367, Lindale, TX 75771 or the charity of your choice. Services will be held at 12:30pm Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland.
