Pilar Monfort Cruz, age 85, was born to parents Candido Franzuela and Dolores Montfort in Catarman, North Samar on October 9, 1933. She passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Garland, Texas. She was married to Vicente Cruz. Pilar was a mother and a homemaker.She is survived by her daughters, Regina Valera, Teresita Raroque, and Jocelyn Quibodeaux; sons, Fernando Cruz and Vicente Cruz; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.The family requests that visiting hours for Pilar Cruz be observed on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel.Funeral arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, at the intersection of Restland Road and Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972)238-7111.
