Preston Shugart's Obituary
Preston Shugart, beloved husband, father, and friend to so many, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
A lifelong outdoorsman who loved to teach others, Preston Lee Shugart was born on September 23, 1964 in Georgia, the middle son of Evelyn Shugart Giles and George Lee Shugart.
Preston worked in the field of technology and had a successful career in systems administration and support. He also was passionate about teaching and supporting his family and friends in the field of technology, helping many friends out as computers began to be a part of our daily lives. Both Boys excel in technical knowledge passed down from their father as well.
Preston attended Navarro College where he met Janet Martin Shugart his wife of 35 years. They had two sons Nathan 32 and Jared 27, who both reside in Texas. In addition to his children, Preston leaves behind two brothers, Marshall Ray Shugart(Mesquite) and Donald Glenn Shugart (Florida) and their significant others Terri and Vicky, as well as many Cousins and friends.
