Priscilla Ann Arnold's Obituary
Priscilla Ann Arnold, 80, of Dallas/Fort Worth passed from this life on August 29, 2023 in Rockwall, Texas. She was born October 16, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas to her parents Boles and Mildred Farris. She was born with complete hearing loss so the family moved to Dallas so she could attend special schools until she was the age of 12. She then moved to a Boarding School at the Jane Brooks School for the Deaf located on the campus of the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha Oklahoma. When she graduated Priscilla moved back to Dallas with her parents and began working for her mother at the family business, Feltner Card Studio. She then married Robert Arnold in 1983, they were happily married for 28 years, until Robert’s death in 2010. She lived at the Deaf Action Center in Dallas for a number of years, then in 2008, she moved to the Assisted Living Center in Fort Worth. After that time, she then moved to the Broadmoor Medical Lodge in Rockwall Texas where she lived out the remainder of her life. Priscilla loved Bowling and Crochet, as well as being an avid animal lover. She is preceded in death by her parents Boles and Midred Farris of Dallas. Her beloved husband Robert Arnold of Fort Worth and brother Robert Farris of Dallas. Priscilla is survived by three nieces, one nephew, eight grand nieces and nephews and many loving cousins.
