Quang Nhu Lu's Obituary
Quang Nhu Lu passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 22nd, 2025, at the age of 90.
Quang is survived by his wife, My Lam; and children, Tru Lu, Jenny Lam, John Lu, and Danny Lu.
Quang was born on January 2nd, 1935, in Saigon, Vietnam and was one of seven siblings. While Quang was accomplished in many capacities, he was most proud of his family and entrepreneur spirit. He was a successful businessman, managing a distribution company in his early 20s and eventually starting his own plastic products manufacturing company at the age of 28. Even after migrating with his family to the United States as refugees, and later settling in Dallas, TX in 1979 – Quang never relented on instilling his values; Encouraging everyone to be their best selves.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00AM at Restland Funeral Home (Memorial Chapel, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243), with an optional reception to follow at 1:00PM at International Buddhist Progress Society (1111 International Pkwy. Richardson, TX 75081) where a vegetarian meal will be provided. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Quang’s life. In lieu of flowers and gifts, our family kindly requests only your presence and/or prayers. Please keep the family in your thoughts.
