Quinten Charles Monie's Obituary
Quinten Charles Monie, age 88, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2017. Quinten was born in Franklin, Nebraska to parents Ernest and Minnie Monie. After serving on the USS Eldorado, in the US Navy, he and wife Paula moved to Dallas for work and raise their family. He retired from the United States Postal Service and spent most of his time fishing, tinkering with his plants and enjoying his grandchildren.He is survived by his son, Mickey Monie, his daughter Debra Keys, his grandchildren, Natalie McCullough, Crystal Hall and Cameron Hall and great grandchildren, Jordan Burgin, Colton Chambers, Dustyn Chambers and Kayla Hall.Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, September 15, 2017, at Restland Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hope for the Warriors in Quinten’s name.
