I worked with Wayne at Dallas Federal for many years. He always had a smile on his face and was always there to help you in any way that you needed. Very kind and sincere. I am sure all of his family has the best memories of the life he shared with him. I was blessed to have known him.
Daddy, How I miss you. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I know you're in Heaven with Mom, as happy and pain-free as you can be. But my heart still grieves for you. You were a wonderful provider, husband, father and a wonderful grandfather. I can hear you now "stop that and pull yourself together!" I always blamed that from being a Captain in the Army. You loved the Lord and served him well. You were his disciple and preached God's word literally till your last day. I'll miss holding your strong but soft hand in church. You always held onto me so tightly. I won't forget the night when I was little and there was a thunderstorm
Sorry, Daddy. You know how difficult these phones can be! But there was a thunderstorm when I was little and you crawled in bed and hugged me and you talked about gum drops, rainbows, unicorns and all the fun things to get my mind off the storm. It obviously worked! You didn't seem to mind on Saturdays mornings when I'd come and jump on ya'll bed telling you to get up! "The roadrunner is on!" And here you'd come in the den and watch with me. I have so many, many more stories that I could tell, 53 to be exact! But just know that I love you very much and I'm happy you're well and back with Mom. Someday my heart will catch up and feel the same. I don't want to say goodbye, but I'll see you after awhile . All my love to you Daddy! "Jan"
