Rachel Lurene Sutton Ledbetter, age 99, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2024. Born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, she was the beloved wife of Lavon Ledbetter. Rachel will be remembered for her love of family, animals, faith, and literature. Preceded in death by her father W. H. Sutton Sr., mother Mary Sutton from New London, Texas, brother W. H. Sutton Jr. and his wife Manila Sutton from Winnsboro, Texas, and brother Elbert Andy Sutton from Mineola, Texas. She is survived by her sister-in-law Bonita Sutton, wife of Elbert, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished her deeply. Rachel's gentle spirit and loving nature will be dearly missed but forever treasured.
