Rachel Frances Purdy's Obituary
PURDY, RACHEL SPINKS Born October 23, 1918 in Yantis, Texas and passed away May 2, 2012 in Dallas. Rachel is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Purdy; sisters, Tommie Pentecost and Clara Hall. She is survived by daughter, Jan Clare and husband Richard; grandchildren, Seth, Rhettt, Shane Clare and wife, Elizabeth; great grandchild, Margaret Grace Clare; brother, Robert Spinks; sister, Barbara Lynn, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00pm on Friday, May 4th at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, May 5th at Arbala Cemetery in Hopkins, Texas.
