Rachel Lee Vanlandingham's Obituary
Rachel was born April 22, 1981, and passed away May 27, 2009. She was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and attended North Mesquite High School. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Waxahachie. Rachel was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Roy Jr. and Nelda Flowers, her aunt, Bobbie Glasgow and uncle, Eddie Flowers and her maternal grandfather, James Thornton. Rachel will forever be remembered by her beloved parents Alisa and Marshall Flowers of Mesquite TX, three beautiful children Sid 10, Seth 6, daughter Star 1, and fiance Shawn Duffy. She is survived by her brother Roy and wife Katrina Flowers, their son Roy Jr., her sister Stacey Flowers and children, Sergio and Sebastian Leija, her grandmother, Barbara Thornton and her aunt, Sandy Thornton. Rachel is also survived by her stepbrother, Brian Lee, and stepsister, Miranda Moorman. She will also be extremely missed by her friends and extended family, Landon Vanlandingham, Cindy, Monty, and Monty Shane Duffy, Shane Redford, Sergio Leija and life long friends Xochitl, Samantha, Consuelo and Jorge Avila, Herb Harris, and so many more special friends that are too numerous to mention. She loved her nephews, and anxiously awaited the birth of her first niece. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed being around her family and friends. Rachel loved to have fun and laugh. In the short time here with us, she made her mark on so many with her tattoo work and her unique individuality.
