Mr. Ralph E. Bradberry Jr.'s Obituary
On Sunday, May 25,1947 in Dallas, TX, Ralph W. E. Bradberry Jr “Brad”, was born to the late Ralph W.E. Bradberry Sr. and Cecelia Booker Bradberry.
Brad attended Hamilton Park Elementary and High school where he graduated in 1965. After graduation he furthered his education to Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. While attending college he decided to serve his country and enlisted into the United States Air Force in November 1966. During his time in The Air Force, Brad was a Sergeant- Air Operation Specialist as well as held other jobs while being enlisted. He also served active duty in the Vietnam war.
After leaving The Air Force he was well versed in the community and worked for the City Dallas - The Willie B. Johnson Recreational Center. He was very passionate about working for this location being that it was in the community where he grew up.
On August 15,1994 he married the love of his life, his soulmate, his “Baby” Janice Branch of Longview, Texas. He was also known to their nieces and nephews as “Uncle Buck”.
He was a member of Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. Although he was a long-distance member, he made sure to partake in supporting the church.
On September 17,2024 Brad went to his heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Ciara.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife Janice Bradberry, brother Rudolph ; Sister-n- laws Gloria (Michael) Canton, Charlsie (Dexter) Stoker ; Nieces; Celia Nicole Wilson, Nakiah Timberlake and Ambree Thompson; Nephews; Ramsey Bradberry, Oliver (Jenna) Timberlake III, Dexterrell (Kaylah) Stoker ; great- nieces; Danielle Wilson, Rachel Elizabeth Wilson, Janiah Ryan, Raelah Stoker, and Danielle Stoker , great- nephews; Ryan Bradberry, Jai’Lyn Ryan, Kasen Brooks and Dexterrell Stoker Jr. and a host of relatives and love ones.
