Ralph T. Dosher's Obituary
DOSHER, JR., RALPH T. died June 21, 2013. He was born September 10, 1924 in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and from SMU with a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. He served in the U.S. Navy as Lt. Jr. Grade. He spent his entire career at Texas Instruments. When he retired in 1989, he and an associate were asked by the TI Foundation to help certain DISD elementary schools to measure their progress using software they would develop using business-world methods. Their work over several years became the model statewide and part of the core of “No Children Left Behind.” Ralph was a Life Deacon at Park Cities Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna; daughters, Diane Hale and Carol Betten and husband, Doug Betten; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Catherine Hamrick. A private family graveside service will be held earlier. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 27 at 11:00AM at Restland Memorial Chapel. Memorials may be made to Park Cities Baptist Church.
